The Sacramento Kings sign Arron Afflalo

The Sacramento Kings have signed 30-year old shooting guard Arron Afflalo to a 2-year, $25 million dollar deal.  He played in 71 games (57 starts) for the Knicks last year and he averaged 33.4 minutes, 12.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.  Afflalo has now played in 648 games (489 starts) in his first 9 years in the NBA and he is averaging 28.7 minutes, 11.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.  He is shooting 45.2% from the floor, 38.5% from three point range and 82% from the free throw line so far in his career.  Afflalo has also played in 35 games (19 starts) in the playoffs so far in his career and he is averaging 18.4 minutes, 6.0 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.  Afflalo will likely slide right into the starting shooting guard spot for the 2016-17 season.  I like this move for the Kings as Afflalo is a solid player.
